Being positive in difficult times is not the easiest thing to do. It takes great practice. I used to be an expert overthinker. Especially when things don't go as planned, scenarios of ‘what ifs’ are the first thing that flood into my mind. It consumed me, to the point where I got anxious thinking about scenarios that 98% of the time didn’t happen.
Until finally one day I realized that no matter how long we think about something, it won’t change the reality. So, why don’t we focus on the things that we can control? We may not be able to control what's happening with the world, but we can control ourselves. Our mindset, our health, the way we react to things. I realized that happiness is self-made. It was reliving.
Thanks to Jen Sincero, I also started to ask myself this question:
What if you spend the same amount of time overthinking, to do awesome things?
During this challenging moment for all of us. Let’s focus on the things that we can control. Through every problem, focus on finding the solution and let go. When the rain comes heavy on us, it’s our choice to dance in the rain or to be caught & drenched in it.
Let’s dance in the rain, together. Keep celebrating the little things in life. Have hope & stay faithful. When we let go, we let the universe create magic in our lives.
Will you dance with me?
